South Korean President Kim Dae-jung has won the Nobel Peace Prize 2000. Mikis Theodorakis who's candidacy has been endorsed by ten thousands of people from all over the world, has made the following statement:

I would like to thank all the people who believed in a Peace Nobel Prize for Greece.

As I said before: the love, recognition and trust to me shown by the thousands of signatures from Greece, Cyprus and all over the world, are for me the greatest reward for my struggle for peace.
